UFO Report from Chattanooga, Tennessee

I was on my way to pick up my girlfriend from work. Around 5:30 PM in Chattanooga, while at the end of Amnicola, heading towards Hwy 153, I saw a large object hovering over Chickamauga Dam/Lake, strongly reflecting the sun. I Looked back a few moments later and it was completely gone. I picked up my girlfriend less than 5 minutes later, and we both looked for aircraft in the area, but didn't see any evidence of ANY aircraft or even contrails. I thought it was a plane heading towards me, making it look like it was hovering in place, but just disappeared a few moments after initially seeing it. This thing was large, but hard to tell what shape or color because of the sun reflecting off of it. I didn't see any trails and it didnt seem to be moving. I honestly got this instinctive feeling that it was watching / observing, but this was during Rush Hour, so not very inconspicuous and certainly not trying to hide.Comments

| I live in Chattanooga and have seen 2 ufos in my life. The first one was in 2006 and me and a friend were getting in amnicola from downtown and it was around 7pm so It wasn’t dark but wasn’t light either. I saw a green light about 1k feet above the Tennessee river and it looked kinda like the burning a green light on a stop light but way brighter. It hovered so we pulled over along with another car in front of us to watch it. It hovered for about 30 seconds then it looked like it turned or banked slightly and it looked like another green light was splitting off from it almost like another identical object but then it just disappeared into nothing. It kinda looked like it shot up into the sky but it was so instantaneous that it looked like it just disappeared. |
