UFO Report from Goose Creek, South Carolina

At approx 8:20 pm a bright large speck of light, larger than a star but closer, appeared and moved quickly in a straight line before disappearing from the sky. I thought it was a shooting star at first, but it completely disappeared at once, and it was much higher in the sky than any New Years fireworks.Comments
| What you described sounds very much like an "iridium flare". I trust if you were familiar with iridium flares you probably would not have made this report. Research iridium flares and let me know what you think. |
