In West Seattle. A clear, cold night. Stargazing about 10pm. I happened to look straight up and saw a dim light, like a star, moving slowly from east to west. At first I thought it was a satellite, but thought it was odd that it was moving toward the west, since most satellites I've seen move toward the east, or north-south. Almost as soon as I thought that, it made an abrupt 90 degree turn to head south. It continued south for about seven seconds, and then it made another 90 degree turn to resume heading west. After a few more seconds, as it got further away, it gradually faded from view.
