Montana UFO Reports

On march 20,2024 I was taking photos of the moon and contrails because I have a new phone with a great camera. On March 24th, I was showing off my photos and zooming in on the stars and found an unusual object that had moved through out several photos. I wish I had noticed it at the time I was taking the pictures as I would have taken more and been zoomed in on the object specifically. Starts off as a blue dot. It looks like the classic UFO very clear in one image and kind of shadowed in clouds in another. There were no contrails with this object and no other flashing lights. The photo is very clear.

About 7 stationary cylindrical objects floating in the night sky. This was around 2:30am. They had lights that were flashing of different colors as well. I watched them for about 15 minutes and they did not move. View Report

Saw what looked to be 5 stars to the N-NW. 3 of the 'stars' began moving inward towards eachother, they were in a triangle formation. Before they touched they disappeared. This was right next to the waxing gibbous moon so photos didn't come out well (moon too bright). View Report

At about 630pm on Thursday November 17 I was on my porch in Kalispell and heard a noise that I thought was my neighbor blowing out his sprinkler system with air but it was about 15 degrees and dark so I figured that was not likely so as I’m looking for an explanation a red light catches my eye in the sky and the I notice three sets of 4 or 5 lights surrounding three white lights in the center. Then I notice two planes big enough to notice they were big by the aviation lights a mile or so ahead of these lights and then two more following as well. I went inside got my wife and we watched them fly over the horizon to the east above the Bob Marshall wilderness area. So what Ethel were they were getting escorted 100% View Report

In October 15th at around 1:45 PM we were at a Griz game in the football stadium in Missoula MT when I noticed an object moving across the sky in the distance. It caught my attention because it was not a plane. Initially I thought it could be a drone capturing footage for the game, but it was too far away from the stadium. It was a boomerang shape so I thought it could also be a glider however after zooming in, it most definitely was not. It appeared to be made of a silver metal. I took pictures and videos with the intent of zooming in to see if I could get a better idea of what I was looking at. It also appeared to change shape which blew me away. View Report
